Pastor Jonathan was born in Simpsonville, SC and spent the first twenty-three years of his life in upstate South Carolina. He met his wife Lauren at their home church when they were both in High School. After dating for five years Jonathan married Lauren, his high school sweetheart, in 2003. After three years of service as a student pastor in Greenville, SC, they moved to Wake Forest to attend Southeastern Seminary in 2004. God has blessed them with two great kids: Rebekah and Nathan. Jonathan has been at Union View since July of 2004.

Jeff Hoenshell email Jeff

Pastor Jeff was born in West Liberty, Ohio and received his Bachelor of Arts from Moody Bible Institute. He also attended Word of Life Bible Institute where he met his wife Carissa. In 2006, they were married and served at a church in Indiana for four years before moving to Wake Forest, NC to begin studying at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. God has blessed them with two wonderful children: Jolie (3) and Judah (1). Jeff and his family have been at Union View since July of 2010.

Chad Gossett email Chad

Chad is serving as a student ministry intern. He was born in Simpsonville, South Carolina and spent his first twenty-four years of life there in the Upstate.  In 2008, Chad decided he wanted to preach and was an intern at Standing Springs Baptist Church where he taught and ministered to youth.  In 2009, he attended Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute in Hendersonville, North Carolina where he studied Christian studies for a year. At the beginning of 2010, Chad moved to Wake Forest to attend Southeastern Seminary to finish earning his bachelor’s degree.  While attending seminary, Chad met and married his wife Rachel on March 12, 2011. They have been at Union View since July 2011.
