With Jesus in our hearts there is no need for any other hero. When we truly make Him Lord of our life and give Him control, His righteousness will shine through us and draw those we meet to Him. To glorify anyone other than the God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit puts that person on a pedestal and draws the weak to worship false and worldly gods. We must seek His guidance in all that we do, so that all we do points to Christ not man.

Amen! Your sentiments have been written throughout the entire time in the testimony of your lives! As I have followed and prayed for you guys, I am constantly struck with the God you glorify despite the personal circumstances of life that cripple so many. Seeing your strength in the Lord through your actions and reactions has made it “easier” to pray. You and Lauren are a wonderful witness for our Lord and I appreciate your ongoing testimony.

Be assured we will continue to be in prayer, trusting God. Indeed, all that is evil entered in the Fall. Indeed, it is God who redeemed us through His Son. I pray with you that as we look at our world we will recognize its brokenness and the sin that lies behind it. And I will continue to pray we will recognize and honor a God who is greater than our sin. I love your closing statement, “may every tragedy drive us away from sin and deeper into God, into holiness.”

Brother, I continue to lift you up in prayer. May you guys experience the presence of our Lord and His abiding comfort that comes in that presence. May God truly bless you today!

Thanks for the insite. I see many JW’s around the Aiken area, but have not had an encounter with any yet. I agree with you though about remembering to deliver the gospel and not delivering hate or anger. Good Post.
